Feb, 2015. - Clara Rodríguez Adrián is a local woman that living with people cheers her up. Her inner beauty and the quality of her work, establishes her in her daily actions as a humane and elegant woman of great personality.
This digital profile of Clarita, as called by those who love her and respect her so much, reveals the values of a fighter for life, chronicler par excellence, journalist, defender of love, dedication and loyalty to the family.
On January 28, 1948, in El Purial, Colombia neighborhood, municipality from the eastern province of Las Tunas, was born the protagonist of this story that is proud of being from Guaimaro municipality. She has lived in the city cradle of the Constitution for more than 40 years.
From her personal experiences she does not forget her memories as a literacy teacher at schools such as "Serafin Sanchez", from Purial, and "Antonio Luaces" from Nuevitas municipality, in Camagüey province.
The first thing she did in Guaimaro was working in the Young Communist League (UJC, by its acronym in Spanish) as a professional official and head of control. Years later she enthusiastically responds to the request of joining the Cuban Communist Party (PCC, by its acronym in Spanish), there she held the responsibilities of Secretary of Industry, Consumption and Service, she also joined the spheres of Growth, Judicial Organs and was in charge of five departments at the same time.
In 1966, she begins to know the magical quality of a mass media that enforces the maxim: "Sonido para ver". She works in the disco session at the Local Radio Station, Radio Guaimaro, entity where she is encouraged to write radio scripts, and she is one of the founders of programs like Panorama Agrario, Ellas en el Dial and the Disco session on Sunday.
The interest in being better, encourages her to experience the world of journalism, she first works as a Journalistic Writing Assistant, and then as a Press Editor-Reporter until her retirement.
Today, Clarita is part of the NGO "Sembrando Ideas", group with over seven years experience determined not to let die the country's history, ready to carry out uplifting activities that highlight the value of major figures of events that dignify the most important resource of every nation: 'The human resource'.
This retired journalist cares for her 104 years old mom with love and dedication; she takes care of her two daughters, two grandchildren and keeps many of the works, fruits of her talent, spread through the radio.
One her dreams is to publish books that leave common people stories for the future, her people, the same that cheers her up, that makes her recall a phrase from the eminent Cuban teacher, writer, philosopher and politician Felix Varela: "Delicate and weak is the life that nature gives us, but can become immortal by our deeds".
