We are faithful to the concept of Revolution

  • Published in Forever Fidel

Fidel Castro Ruz.It was on May 1, 2000, in the historic Jose Marti Square in Havana, when the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro, in the midst of the struggle for the return of the child, Elián González, released the concept of Revolution.

Undoubtedly, it is a core definition that we all ratify for these painful days in which the indestructible leader departed into eternity. A concept that is fruit of the long experience of Fidel as a fighter, and perfect synthesis of more than two centuries of battles against the Spanish colonialism, first; and against the neocolonialism of the United States later.

A text that traces the way for the Revolution to continue and this one in its essence summarizes the past, present and mainly future history of the nation.

A definition that Cuba carries with it today and always, not to repeat it in memory as a dogma, but to apply it daily and creatively in our work.

Fidel Castro's followers

As the quintessence of political-ideological work summarized the president of the Councils of State and Ministers, Raul Castro, the Revolution concept of Fidel.

And although times change, with new challenges, the definition of the eternal Commander maintains full validity, because it contains the elements that validate ours as a true Revolution.

Because as Fidel explained: Revolution is a sense of the historical moment and also unity, people from Havana will attend next January 2nd the Military Parade and March of people, in homage to the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the landing of the yacht Granma.

What a greater commitment to Fidel and his concept of Revolution, than to be there in Plaza José Martí, ratifying our decision to always guide us by his principles and act accordingly with them, each one in the assigned position.
