Havana, Nov 12.- In order to continue efforts towards responsible social transformation based on art and creativity, the 5th Rebirth Forum will take place in Havana, the Italian-Cuban Third Paradise project reports.
Developed by Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, the Rebirth initiative has the collaboration of the National Council of Plastic Arts, the Arte Continua Cultural Center and the Pistoletto-Cittadellarte foundation.
Enterprises committed to sustainability, community projects, centers belonging to the Office of the Havana City Historian, as well as the Alicia Alonso Grand Theater, also join the event.
The fifth forum, to be held November 20 and 27, will pay tribute to the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana. Under the title 'Sustainable City,' this event will be an opportunity to celebrate the five years of the Third Paradise project in Cuba.
According to the official press release, the work sessions will be divided into a dozen themes on which specialists, artists, ecologists, youth, and social activists will exchange.
The organizers informed that this edition seeks to encourage the association with initiatives and projects that promote practices in favor of environmental care, based on diverse artistic expressions and experimentation, which will allow more tablework and the analysis of each issue.
The Third Paradise Cuba project promotes responsible social transformation based on art and creativity, and directs its efforts towards the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
