Santiago de Cuba, Nov 20.- The last group of Cuban medical collaborators who were working in Ecuador arrived at the Antonio Maceo International Airport on Tuesday, after the Ecuadorian government decided to terminate the health agreement with Havana.
Havana, Nov 18.- On his official Twitter account, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel greeted on Monday a group of Cuban health workers who returned today from Bolivia, following the coup d'état and threats against doctors of the island working in the Andean nation.
Beijing, Nov 14.- China has allocated 830 million yuan (US$118.6 million) to finance the recovery of several territories devastated by extreme drought, typhoons and earthquakes in recent months, authorities announced on Thursday.
Havana, Nov 15.- The Cuban government on Friday demanded the release of four health workers unjustly detained in Bolivia, and announced the immediate withdrawal of members of its medical mission in the Andean country.
Quito, Nov 13.- The Government Minister of Ecuador, María Paula Romo, announced the end of medical collaboration agreements between Cuba and this Andean country, where professionals from the Caribbean archipelago work in various health specialties.
