Havana, Aug 24.- With the aim of updating knowledge on issues of high impact for economic and technical development, the National Standardization Office of Cuba (ONN), convened today the 2nd International Quality Convention, Havana 2019.
The entity, belonging to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), reported that the appointment will take place from October 1 to 4 next year at the Havana International Conference Center.
In the context of Havana 2019, the 10th International Quality Symposium and the 2nd International Symposium on Standardization, accreditation, and evaluation of continuity will be held.
Delegates and guests may also participate in the 2nd International Symposium on food quality and safety and the First Symposium on the quality of services.
According to the call, the unpublished works that should be sent to the organizing committee before May 15, will address -among the themes- trade, tourism, construction education, transport, health and biotechnology, food, energy and Information Technology, and Communications.
The scientific program of the conclave, chaired by the director of ONN, Nancy Fernandez, will be developed through pre-convention courses, lectures, roundtables, workshops, and oral presentations.
