The 40 per cent of women are integrated to the work, both the state sector and non state in Guaimaro municipality and is evident the females support to the development in the territory with the linking to the different spheres on the society.

The female role is outstanding on field works, more than 50 members are registered to the Agricultural Production Farm (CPA, by its acronym in Spanish) and Credits and Services (CCS, by its acronym in Spanish) the number is very higher taking into account the women dedicated to these tasks without belong to any production entity.
The health system stands out as the most linking of the women, with 889 women, including doctors, nurses, and technical, of them 189 are currently serving internationalist mission, something that evidence supporting the Revolution.
The educational system and the performance on directive charges also highlight among the biggest presence of the local women with great social recognition by the effectiveness achieved on the tasks fulfillment and the contribution to the new generations’ formation.
The self-employment is another area where highlights the women work although is not the majority in the municipality, it is significant the linking on different activities especially manicuri and hairdresser and dressmaker and preparation and sale of food in the house.
On the Congress 9thof the Cuban Women Federation (FMC, by its acronym in Spanish), the local females are challenged to join and recover the female role from the base that needs the territory to advance.
