The Cooperative Production Farm (UBPC) Tiburcio Esquibel in Cascorro´s Popular Council, overfulfilled up to date the planting plan of various crops.
The commitment was surpassed in one hectare, achieving the planting of two hectares of cassava and nine of varieties of short cycle including corn, squash and sweet potatoes.
Rolando Cruz Labrada, farm manager spoke to the press that so far the plantation development is good, but if drought keeps on, it may spoil the work, because without water the yield will be minimal.
Waiting for the necessary rains they have also plowed six more hectares in order to encourage agriculture.
The group of workers from Tiburcio Esquibel, productive base whose purpose is the milk, is composed by 47 workers, from which six are in charge of attending various crops as another way to diversify productions, in response to the economic and social policy from the guidelines of the Party and the Revolution adopted at the sixth Congress of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC).
