Cultural extensions to Palo Seco, Monte Grande, La Veguera and La Columna communities, stood out among the proposals of the local institutions to entertain the residents of rural areas in August.
From the summer attractions organized by the provincial Cultural Centre in Camagüey 10 of them reached Guáimaro in this current month with the 1920 Sextet, presented in San Francisco, and the campaign tour of the Theatre Light group with their performances in Pueblo Nuevo and Cascorro.
Some days ago, the Guignol Theater from Camagüey visited the municipality, whose members offered plays for children in Marti town.
From that Camagueyan cultural program are expected the presentations of the Cuban theater group La Magia, scheduled for the 27th and in the 29th, the group Desandán in Constitution Park are expected.
Another very attractive offer is the visual arts event Body Art that each summer gains more followers.
