Members of the Red Cross in the city of Guaimaro work efficiently in this summer stage in more control over the two bathing areas, through the work of lifeguards responsible for ensuring the integrity of vacationers.
Rodney Monteagudo Cutiño, water safety chief said that so far no accidents have been reported this month the installation of the Monte Oscuro Popular Camping, or the hotel pool in Guaimaro, so the town has two years unregistered by immersion unfortunate incidents.
Shifts are provided so as to allow all day and week the presence of lifeguards and to date, any irregularity has occurred with relay and compliance with the established hours of bath.
The team continues to work on the quality of their performance, in order to address the deficiencies identified during their work, and work with the signaling in the shallow areas to prevent accidents.
Speaking to the press Machado Irma Torres, secretary of that group in the city, reported that after the beginning of September the preparatory seminars will be taken up with the 180 credited volunteers in the six People's Councils.
