Summer holidays close in Guaimaro with youthful joy

Summer logo in Cuba. Many were the activities that delighted the different generations of Guaimaro citizens in this municipality as part of the initiatives for the closure of the present summer season under the slogan "We have too many reasons to enjoy."

The Clown Natilla, writers and singers from the land of the Constitution came to the Micro district and delighted children, youth and adults for about an hour with riddles, stories, games and nursery rhymes.

Meanwhile several units of commerce and gastronomy, the state agricultural market and agriculture cooperatives in the county seat, went to the fairgrounds belonging to Rectangulo  Company to market their offerings alongside with those coming from rural communities such as Cuatro Caminos and Cascorro, the latter represented by the Siete de Diciembre and Miguel Maceo Cooperatives.

The Constitution de Guaimaro Basic Unit and the Credit and Service Cooperative Camilo Cienfuegos were also involved in the sale of meats, fruits, poultry and sheep, while the selling points sold certain such products, domestic rice and tomato paste.

The collective of commerce and gastronomy sold as well recycled clothes, ricotta, cheese, imported rice, blood sausage, pork, beef offal, gristle, white bones, mince, cornmeal and croquette mix.

The restaurant cafe El Caribe, sold lunch - pork steak, rice and beans and planthoppers - while the other units of gastronomy expended bulk beer, snacks of pork, flour fritters and offered recorded music in a very joyful atmosphere.

At this end of summer 2015 Mediterráneo Musical group from Havana led by Roberto Estobal came to town, who wowed the crowd with several premieres from the album From nowhere to the fame, the last of the very well known and appreciated congregation in this town thanks to the continuous courtesies of its director with the local radio.
