With a new semiboarding school belonging to primary education where about 300 children of working mothers will attend college starts the 2015-2016 academic year in this municipality.
Rafael Morales School in the north of the city is the subject of a general maintenance in order to prepare it for the provision of teaching from first to sixth grades at the same time providing food services and rest after lunch.
On a visit to the educational institution and in dialogue with the Master of Science in Education and Director of the mentioned site, Onelio Perez Ortega, we met that the adaptation of the accommodation for the cuisine was completed, as well as the dining room, food warehouse, female, male and workers bathrooms and the cover of one of the three buildings was waterproofed.
Several brigades of workers from different local agencies support the completion works of the building, working together with workers and technicians of the Assurance and Services to Education Company in patching and painting walls and ceilings, in creating the Marti square, sports areas and gardens.
Rafael Morales Semiboarding school is expected to be totally repaired for next coming September 30th when 87 aluminum windows to reach the work will be assembled, and the new perimeter fence will be completed.
To that capital maintenance the local People's Power allocated to the education sector from its budget for this year, more than 170,000 Cuban pesos alongside the investment for studying basic materials.
