The Ignacio Agramonte Elementary School in Palo Seco was the scene on this first day of September of the municipal ceremony to inaugurate the school year 2015-2016 in Guaimaro, with the aim of recognizing as many people and institutions that made possible the dream of seeing the completely revamped image that that institution displays at present.
At the ceremony the first authorities of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), the Government and teachers in Guaimaro, handed certificates to the local brigade of the company of Assurance & Services to Education (EPASE) responsible for executing the general maintenance that left the school ready for the new school year, and the railway linemen which also supported its rebuilding.
The meeting was also suitable to hand over the Distinctions "Rafael María de Mendive" to the teacher Nancy Tellez Tellez, educator from the Junior High School José Martí, in Pueblo Nuevo, and the order "For the Cuban Education" to Olga Vazquez Alvarez from the Elementary school Ignacio Agramonte.
Professor Celia del Carmen Fernandez Labrada, from the Agriculture Polytechnic Institute Levantamiento de Jucaral, Isabel Machado Perez, librarian from the Elementary school Ignacio Agramonte, and Raquel Dominguez Alonso, from the Junior High school in Pueblo Nuevo were recognized with the Pepito Tey Medal for continuing inserted in the educational sector giving their best, despite being in retirement age.
Pensioned and reinserted Teachers: Juliana Trutie Ramirez, from José Martí Junior High school and Maria de los Angeles Gonzalez Fernandez, assistant teacher from the Ignacio Agramonte Elementary were also recognized, whose Director, Lazaro Sifontes Casas, received at that time the certificate of School ready to start the new school year.
