With only a few days remaining for the festivities for the 58th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, residents living on Benito Morell Street between Máximo Gómez and Gabriel García in the Guaimaro Norte Popular Council add another reason to their joy.
It is the execution of a new sewage system with which 18 homes were favored that lacked this service, which caused the overflow of the septic tanks, thus aggravating the sanitary and hygienic situation of this urban street.
The work was executed by a brigade belonging to the Water Supply and Sewerage Budgeted Unit of the town and in just few days of work over 100 meters of polyethylene pipes six millimeters high durability were engaged in that street.
To the work undertaken by these workers joined the local residents, who contributed to the ditches and partial repair of the road, which will later be incorporated into the communal budget in the territory for paving.
The willingness and support of the beneficiaries with this aqueduct work, served for the planning and operation of neighborhood commissions that were in charge; Some on the elaboration of snacks and the attentions to the workers, and another part of the custody of the resources put in the place.
