Today, the installation of the WIFI wireless network is taking place in Guaimaro with popular acceptance since last Wednesday, December 28th with the agreement of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Camagüey regarding the connection of all municipalities in the province before December 31st.
In afternoon hours yesterday, technicians and engineers from the Telecommunications Company of Cuba (ETECSA) finalized the works of installation of the equipment located in areas of the Constitution park with a range extended to 200 meters in the round.
After carrying out the tests of connectivity and speed of navigation, a rate of 1.05 Megabytes is verified with possibilities to increase according to the demand of users to enable better availability of the service in the peaks of connectivity.
In the area determined for the use of the wireless network are the workers of ETECSA, in order to provide the necessary support in case of problems in the connection to the nauta and the configuration of the devices used to establish the connectivity service.
Also in this space is the sale of coupons to recharge accounts for the telecommunications operators hired by the services of ETECSA which allows the permanence of Internet users in the area of connectivity without having to move to other places to carry out the purchase to activate their accounts.
On the night of Wednesday, it was verified that more than 200 users attended to enjoy this new service of the information technologies to give way to greater possibilities of its use for the improvement and communication between users as the joy of the Internet users to see their family and friends through this way was evident.
