In his company we lived memorable moments, his tendency was always to human, spiritual and social growth. Since his arrival in Camagüey in the year '2012', the children of this land knew that they could count on him in the good and bad and that the references were not one or two, they were many for the work done as First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in Ciego de Ávila.
Little by little and with the passage of time the name of Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca became so familiar to the point of listening to the same in meetings, conferences, assemblies, marches, volunteer work, parades, tributes, celebrations, in defense tasks , because the man who today the land of Camagüey wishes him the best in his new fight, left indelible marks in a province that dismisses him with honors, that loves and embraces him.
What can be said of the wise leader, given to his responsibility? What to say of the leader who, with a gentle hand, greets his people and with a firm hand denounces analyzes and proposes solutions to problems? What talk about him, a Cuban who needs the country a lot? Tapia has been great with Camagüey and for that we Camagüeyans are grateful!
All his proposals contributed to stoking the sense of unity in the people of Camagüey, the strength of the maxim ¡Si se puede! He will never lose his historical memory and that Jorge Luis Tapia Fonseca will be remembered in some way as the father who baptized his children in values, principles, culture, self-denial.
In his work prevailed the constant call to care and protect children and adolescents, grandparents who comb gray hair, men and women who from his adulthood made theirs each of the calls to be better every day.
So shall! This expression is common in the locals, not just because he is the manager of a dream transformed into reality, a productive pole that bets for development, also because those two fused words encourage not to let hope die.
