The benefits of milk cooling centers stand out in Guaimaro

Technician working in one of the milk cooling center in Guaimaro.In the easternmost region of Camagüey, more than 17 milk cooling facilities are operational, a number that provides the delivery of the natural food to nearby productive entities and peasants living in an average distance of six kilometers.

 

These collective collection points, built as part of the livestock recovery deployed in Guaimaro, guarantee producers a stable schedule for the delivery of milk and ensure optimal conditions for storage.

In the territory, other centers of this type are expected to be implemented, which will contribute to raising the quality of the food, with benefits not only for the industry, but also for the farmers satisfied to receive better payments when the collected volumes meet the established indicators.

The managers of the agricultural sector also plan, the gradual increase of the thermos of 500 thousand liters, in order to meet the demands of the different productive bases of the demarcation.
