With a total of 287 members, the Cuban Association of Physical and Motor Impaired (ACLIFIM) in Guaimaro received the status of provincial avant-garde, thanks to the sustained work shown by that organization in the territory.
Ricardo Rodríguez Selpa, president of the organization in the municipality, stressed that last year’s work was aimed at updating the affiliate listings, as well as the payment in the first quarter of the monthly contribution of each member.
In the meetings planned during the year, the members of that organization are projected by the elimination of the architectural barriers that damage the passage and transfer of people with motor disabilities.
For the members of the Cuban Association of Physical and Motor Impaired (ACLIFIM) in Guaimaro, the delivery of means such as wheelchairs and canes is also a priority, still insufficient due to the low availability in the national market.
