Yeosbany Acosta Morell, president of the Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) Armando Enrique Cardoso and member of the Municipal and Provincial Bureau of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) was elected in assembly as a direct delegate to the XII Congress of the peasant organization.
Acosta Morell was chosen for the results in the performance of his work and in the same meeting the local farmers dismissed Edmundo Torres Hernández, outgoing president of the ANAP with a closed ovation, for the satisfactory work carried out during his function.
As the new president of the guild in the town, Yunior León Reyes was selected, after being honored for his outstanding actions in the sector.
In the Assembly of Accountability, Renewal and Ratification of Mandates, prior to the XII Congress of the ANAP, the organization, combativeness and commitment of the peasants of the easternmost part of the Camagüeyan territories prevailed.
