Achieving careful attention to the people and promptly addressing the demands of the residents was the call of the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Camagüey, Ariel Santana Santiesteban, during his visit to the municipality today.
In his exchange with delegates, managers of the locality and the province, Santa Santiesteban was interested in issues related to the construction of houses, the eradication of dirt floors and the differentiated attention to people benefiting from social assistance.
The water supply to the population of the local community of Galbis also focused the analysis of the highest political leader of the province, who urged those responsible to immediately solve the problems reported in recent months with a rational use of available resources.
As part of the exchange, the partisan leader assessed food production and marketing, taking into account the need to deliver 30 pounds per capita of fresh food, vegetables, fruits, grains and condiments.
"It is the responsibility of cooperatives and local authorities to obtain the supply of the nine state crop sale kiosks of the municipal seat, and for this the territory has a potential of 39 units," said Santana Santiesteban.
The First Secretary of the PCC in Camagüey, accompanied by Yoseily Góngora López, provincial governor, urged locals to join forces to provide creative ideas that help boost the country's economy.
