The 61 delegates from Guaimaro scheduled for the democratic exercise of election of the provincial governor and vice governor positions exercised this morning their right to vote in the house of the "Luz Palomares García" culture belonging to the easternmost region of Camagüey.
Despite the difficulties with some energy carriers, especially fuel, the Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the easternmost region of Camagüey called on the agricultural and peasant entities of the territory to produce more food, as imperative this year.
In compliance with one of the transitory provisions of the Constitution of the Republic proclaimed on last year’s April, today Saturday January 18th, takes place in Guaimaro, Camagüey, as in the whole country, the election of governors and vice governors.
The members of the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC) in Guáimaro condemn the claims of the regional extreme right that seeks to silence the truth spread day by day by the multinational TeleSUR chain in several languages.
