Havana, August 5.- The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, congratulated this Monday the digital news media Cubadebate, on the 16th anniversary of its foundation.
'Congratulations to the Cubadebate collective on their anniversary. They have built a revolutionary communicational platform, modern, attractive, robust and followed by Cubans,' the president wrote on Twitter.
On his Cubadebate page he wrote: 'We reached sixteen. On such a date in Cuba he comes of age. The childhood that made us have fun and learn with what we like to do and we enter to the adolescent maturity is being left behind'.
There have been almost no hours for rest. But the sense of usefulness and gratitude of our readers more than rewards the dedication. It begins a stage that forces us to remain irreverently committed, deeply joyful, irrevocably revolutionary,' the text stresses.
