Zurich, Sep 14.- The International Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday has announced the sale of the first tickets for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, scheduled from June 14th through July 15th, 2018.
According to a FIFA statement, such first tickets can be purchased exclusively on the digital portal FIFA.com/tickets.
The first period of sales phase 1 will start from September 14th through October 12th and these tickets will be allocated by a random selection draw process.
All successful, partially successful and unsuccessful applicants will be duly notified of the outcome of their applications by November 16th, 2017, the FIFA website states.
A total of 12 stadiums in 11 cities will host the grand football competition, where Germany will be one of favorite team to win the final.
