La Paz, Oct 24.- A technical committee of the South American Sports Organization (Odesur) arrived in the Bolivian department of Cochabamba to the sports scenarios for the 2018 South American Games.
According to the Bolivian Minister of Sports, Tito Montaño, the group of specialists will tour the sports scenarios that must be remodeled by the government of that department as the stadium Félix Capriles and four coliseums.
The delegation will then make a diagnosis about the work to be carried out by the Mayor and other regional entities regarding the construction and rehabilitation of infrastructures for various disciplines that will compete in the South American games.
For two days, the Odesur commission will carry out its assessment and then present a report on the result, said Montaño.
The 11th South American Games Cochabamba 2018 will take place in May and will feature 35 sports venues from several municipalities in the department.
This will be the second time that the South American Games will take place in Bolivia, as in 1978 it was held in La Paz the first edition of the competition, then known as Cruz del Sur Games.
