Caracas, Feb 6 - The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, announced today the appointment of Miguel Pérez Pirela as sectoral vice president of Communication and Culture.
In addition to assuming the Ministry of Communication and Information, comrade Pérez Pirela takes on this new responsibility, the president indicated on her Telegram account.
She mentioned that, with renewed strength, "he is called to promote our cultural diversity and strengthen national identity for the sake of uniting Venezuelans."
In Venezuela, truth prevails and peace is strengthened, Rodríguez assured.
On January 16, the acting leader appointed the philosopher, writer, and communicator as Minister of Communication and Information, replacing Freddy Ñáñez, who moved on to lead the Ministry of Ecosocialism.
