Products from the basket announced for December

Camagüey, Dec. 9 - The regulated family basket for December will have highly demanded supplies, whose delivery experienced interruptions during the current 2025.

According to information from the Provincial Wholesale Food Products Company (EMPA), this month they will deliver oil and coffee in the quantities established per consumer.

The sale of eight pounds of rice per person was also announced, which will arrive in the coming days to the territory in shipments coming from Havana and Santiago de Cuba.

In the case of sugar, it was distributed in October, and there is coverage to supply that corresponding to November and, immediately, to bring the December quota to the retail network.

Currently, there are delays with salt, as October debts remain, and its completion remains subject to new arrivals.

The imminent arrival of peas via coastal shipping allows initial distribution of 20 ounces per capita, although Vertientes and Santa Cruz del Sur will immediately receive half, which will be covered with warehouse stock.

The eighth round of compote distribution was completed only in Camagüey, Najasa, and Jimaguayú.
