Your voice, which spoke of love, nature, and nation, continues to resonate in classrooms, in the young faces discovering your verses and seeing themselves reflected in them.
Today I embrace you with the gratitude of someone who understands that your legacy does not wither. I embrace you as pioneers do when they read your stories, as young people who find in your example the strength to believe in themselves and in this country that, against all adversity, rises inspired by the goodness of noble men.
