Camagüey, December 31st - An extensive program of activities will be carried out in Camagüey by the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (CITMA) within the framework of the celebrations for Cuban Science Day, which is celebrated every January 15th.
Highlights include spaces dedicated to discussions on the circular economy. Additionally, the provincial event "Young Science for Innovation" is included, aiming to share the research results achieved by the new generations.
Prior to the date, a course on tools to refine or improve science, technology, and innovation projects was held, in which various initiatives are put into practice.
Another activity for Cuban Science Day in Camagüey will be a meeting on January 10th at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology to outline strategies aimed at the commercialization of products.
Also included is an exchange with institutions organized by the Pharmacy and Optics Company related to the implementation of the innovation management system.
Meanwhile, the award ceremony for outstanding scientists of the territory will take place on January 7th at the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Ignacio Agramonte.
It was announced that 28 people from Camagüey will attend the National Innovation Fair, which will be held from January 15th to 17th.
The series of events for Cuban Science Day will conclude in Camagüey on January 21st at a scientific and productive hub to evaluate the performance of the results of the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment.
