Havana, December 12 - The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Spanish Association of Administrative Managers to the development of legal services on the island, local media report today.
Díaz-Canel conveyed his appreciation during a courtesy meeting at the Palace of the Revolution with the president of the Association, Fernando Jesús Santiago Ollero.
According to reports published in Granma, Juventud Rebelde, and other digital and print publications, he also highlighted the impact of the Spanish entity's collaboration on the “training of professionals through courses and the provision of updated bibliography.”
Likewise, he “emphasized the participation of that institution in international events held in Cuba, contributing in various topics.”
During the exchange held on Thursday afternoon, the head of state praised the contribution of Spanish experts to the transformation process in the island's legal sector, particularly regarding the digitalization of public services.
The texts underline that the Cuban leader “reaffirmed the willingness to continue working together to advance the modernization and improvement of Public Administration.”
For his part, they mention, Santiago Ollero “reiterated the commitment to maintaining cooperation with Cuba, even in the face of obstacles arising from external pressures.”
