Havana, Nov. 5 - The University of the Arts (ISA) in the Cuban capital is hosting the First Innovation Fair for Cultural Development today, providing a suitable platform for presenting works and exchanging ideas among personalities from various fields.
Under the slogan "Science, Awareness, and Innovation for the Sustainable Development of Culture," the event, which will run until Friday, reserved a conference on Wednesday in the Aula Magna titled "Economic Growth and Social Equity: The Intermediary Functions of Science and Culture," presented by Doctor Agustín Lage.
Following that, participants will engage in panels discussing "Dynamics of Cultural Innovation," "Innovative Solutions in Cultural and Creative Industries: Music and Entertainment Industries," and "Innovative Solutions for Culture."
In the afternoon session, among other activities, the inauguration of the Innovation Fair for Sustainable Development and its exhibition showcase is scheduled.
There will also be an exchange with exhibitors and a Conference-Show by the Teatro Tuyo group.
According to the program, this national event serves as a theoretical-practical exchange platform aimed at promoting a culture of innovation.
In this context, projections on emerging topics will be identified, where the contribution of knowledge is essential.
This will be an opportunity to present the National and Annual Awards for Cultural Research, as well as recognition for the best stand and the most relevant research presented.
