Guáimaro, January 5th. — Death hurts, and even more so when it is imposed by enemy weapons. Tears and the very pain of those who must come to terms with the cruel decision of “the masters of the world,” neofascist leaders and exponents of state terrorism, hurt deeply.
Today we honor the fallen fighters in Venezuela in the fulfillment of their duty: 32 Cubans who sacrificed their lives for the brother nation of Bolívar and Chávez.
History already tells the brave example of those who, firm, dignified, and heroic, stood against the U.S. military aggression on Venezuelan soil.
Venezuela weeps because they too were her children. Cuba feels the injustice deeply and pays tribute to its heroes. Glory and honor!
