Caracas, Nov 12.- The promulgation of the Law of Integral Defense Organization Commands of the Nation marks a new stage in the defense of the Bolivarian Revolution of Venezuela, further consolidating the popular military-police fusion.
This defense strategy was sanctioned the day before in a second discussion by a qualified majority in the National Assembly (parliament), and just hours later, President Nicolás Maduro promulgated it at the Miraflores Palace, the seat of government, for immediate implementation.
The regulation, consisting of 22 articles, represents a significant advancement in the development of military doctrine by synthesizing the rich history of struggles of the Venezuelan people, "Bolivarian and Zamorana," as Maduro stated, and powerfully institutionalizes "the co-responsibility for the Defense of the Nation."
In a meeting last night in the Sol del Perú hall with the Board of Directors of the parliament and members of the Defense Commission and the Interior Policy Commission, the president announced that all structures would be activated from dawn on Wednesday.

"All Integral Defense Commands must be activated at dawn," ordered the Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).
These structures group all public institutions of the Venezuelan state at national, state, and municipal levels, along with the FANB and Popular Power, with the aim of strengthening peace, democracy, and the integral defense of the nation, as well as ensuring unity of command and coordination among different levels.
"In the face of maximum pressure, maximum preparation of all society and the country in perfect popular, military, and police fusion," affirmed the president.
The leader explained that "the idea is to always be prepared to defend the right to peace" for the people of Venezuela, South America, and the Caribbean, reaffirming that he stands on the right side of history.
Nothing and no one should attempt to disturb the peace and tranquility of this land and this peaceful people, but who "has historically demonstrated to be a warrior people capable of everything," he emphasized.
"We have strengthened the capacity and preparation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces concretely for any scenario," declared the dignitary.
In this direction, the FANB mobilized more than 200,000 troops throughout the national territory yesterday and today, which included operational deployment of all defensive systems from air, land, and naval forces, announced in a statement by Defense Minister General in Chief Vladimir Padrino.
This new dimension of Full Operational Readiness included "massive deployment of land, air, naval, riverine, and missile systems and weaponry," indicated the note.
Additionally, it involved Military Units; the Bolivarian Militia; Citizen Security Bodies; and Commands for Integral Defense.

He emphasized that the FANB "is stronger than ever in its unity, moral cohesion, and equipment to preserve at all costs the sacred interests of the country, such as its freedom, sovereignty, independence, stability, and peace" alongside the Venezuelan people.
In reviewing last night the Independence Plan 200 in its superior phase, Padrino highlighted the combat morale of the people in the streets and soldiers deployed with their weapon systems, "occupying various positions and all tasks from a military standpoint."
The President of the National Assembly Jorge Rodríguez stated in a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the FANB that in this context of aggression by the imperial hegemon that refuses to recognize that these are new times, "we long ago decided to be free and independent."
He affirmed that the Law of Integral Defense Organization Commands of the Nation "is very concrete for the understanding of the people, its development and execution."
