Florida, January 27 - A new Revitalization Program for the Florida Boulevard was presented to the Municipal Administration Council with the purpose of establishing discipline and strengthening the commercial and socio-cultural activity of this main city artery.
Representatives from Mypimes, companies, and state organizations located in the area, along with self-employed workers running businesses in the city’s most populous space, attended the proposal review as invited guests.
The recovery proposal for Florida Boulevard includes tasks that require everyone's participation, aiming to eliminate the accumulation of social indiscipline and traffic issues introduced by the population; improve the aesthetic image and nighttime lighting of the area; strengthen its commercial and socio-cultural offerings; and increase the sense of belonging and commitment to addressing wrongdoing among workers and local residents.
Inaugurated in July 2018, the Florida Boulevard quickly lost prominence due to various causes, which has led to public criticism and negative coverage through mass media.
The new effort to revitalize it, amidst severe economic constraints and limited resources, demands unity from all factors assembled therein, collaboration from others, and greater civic awareness and vigilance to preserve everything that can be achieved through this endeavor.
