Camagüey, January 28 - Members of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) at the national level exchanged views with peasant leaders and producers from the region with the aim of increasing agri-food production.
The commission, made up of Osvel Pérez, member of the ANAP National Bureau, and officials Roberto Chacón and Juan Guerra, first met with the organization's executive in Camagüey.
Among the topics discussed were the implementation of the agreements from the 13th Peasant Congress, organizational functioning, the results of last year's production indicators, and projections for 2026.
Next, the delegation toured areas of the Roberto Rodríguez Agricultural Production Cooperative, where they spoke with its board of directors and with the outstanding usufructuaries Eurnides Veloz and Nivaldo Navarro about their performance in the previous year and prospects for the current period.
The visit to the municipality of Camagüey is part of the Comprehensive Control by the ANAP National Bureau of the province, taking place from January 26 to 29 of this year.
