Angola Technology Forum to Discuss Artificial Intelligence

Luanda, Dec. 8 – The sixth edition of Angola’s International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Angotic 2026, will discuss the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence from June 11 to 13 in Luanda.

The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies, and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, during the event’s launch this Monday, highlighted the achievements from previous years and emphasized its importance for strengthening the country’s position in this field within Africa.

In this regard, he mentioned that the aspiration is for Angotic to become a reference platform for the continent and the world, serving as a meeting point for decision-makers, entrepreneurs, experts, startups, and representatives from the ICT sector.

The sixth edition of the forum, held under the theme “On the Path Towards Digital Transformation,” faces the challenge of surpassing the previous gathering, which brought together 117 national and international companies and more than 180 startups.

For next June, organizers also expect the presence of high-level entities, sector leaders, and international experts, inviting institutions and companies to join with creative ideas related to the central theme.

Angotic 2026 becomes each year a stage for the presentation of new products, the attraction of talents and innovative projects, business establishment, and learning through workshops and conferences held during the event.

In 2025, more than 20,000 visitors attended the event facilities, while around three thousand children participated in educational activities.
