Florida, January 11 - The Agroindustrial Fruitflorida Market in this municipality closed the year 2025 with nearly nine million pesos in revenue from merchandise sales and the satisfaction of remaining preferred by consumers in the area.
Although the last months of the previous year were affected by the low availability of products supplied by the Comercializadora of the D’Ceballos Agroindustrial Company in Ciego de Ávila, the aforementioned establishment here achieved favorable results despite the current limitations in merchandise transportation.
Among the most in-demand offerings at Fruitflorida throughout the past year were jams, sauces, and preserved nectars, along with fresh items such as cassava, plantains, and pumpkin.
According to information provided by Yamirelis García Salcedo, the chief representative of this prestigious local market, her team is not satisfied with what was achieved in the previous period, considering that they would also have liked to reach different rural communities and other areas of the municipality with their products.
The administrator of Fruitflorida also expressed gratitude for the support from the Floridan government in self-supply efforts, and affirmed their commitment to face 2026 with the same willingness to serve the people and maintain offerings that contribute to family tables in this area of Camagüey.
