Camagüey.- This province has sent a new shipment of aid destined for Santiago de Cuba, one of the territories most affected by the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
This solidarity package includes products contributed by the municipalities of Jimaguayu, Najasa, Camagüey, and entities from the AzCuba Group.
Support was also provided by political and mass organizations such as the Union of Young Communists, the Federation of Cuban Women, the Association of Small Farmers, and the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution.
Among the collected items are various crops, sheep and goat livestock, as well as industrial and hygiene products.
This is the third shipment sent by the people of Camagüey in support of the eastern part of the country, which has also included Granma.
