Havana, July 22.- "The State Department's report against #Cuba is one more step in the strategy designed by the US government to build pretexts, allowing it to continue its policy of suffocation and its escalation of aggressions against the noble Cuban people," he wrote on the social network X.
Likewise, he pointed out that Cuba is not a threat and that, on the contrary, it is the threatened nation, as was recently recognized at the UN.
"Cuba has always been a victim of multiple terrorist attacks organized and financed from the US," he expressed.
The Prime Minister recalled that the island and its revolutionary process have always been distinguished by their solidarity with all the countries of the world, even under the impact of the cruelest of blockades, which has been unprecedentedly intensified with a criminal energy siege.
"A dignified and heroic nation, which has resisted and overcome maneuvers of all kinds, has a legitimate right to defend its sovereignty. That is our firmest conviction," he added.
