Havana, December 31st – Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Cuba, presided this Tuesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice (Minjus) over the closing of the handover process of the position of Minister of Justice, Rosabel Gamón Verde.
This event reflects solidity, transparency, and continuity, assured the Minjus on its Facebook profile.
We build on what has been achieved to project new horizons of work; the management carried out is consolidated and improved, the organization stated.
It added that the brotherhood with the new president of the Supreme People's Court, Oscar Manuel Silvera Martínez, former head of the Ministry of Justice, is strengthened; united, the Ministry and the Court will advance toward the same goal: serving Cuba and its people, the publication noted.
Silvera Martínez handed over the position to Gamón Verde after she was ratified on December 18, 2025, by the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba.
