Havana, Cuba – Cuban journalist and writer Manuel Juan Somoza presented his new novel, "Shock in the Cathedral," via the internet. The digital publication was handled by Ruth Editorial.
The work deals with the deadly and seemingly endless confrontation between the espionage of two disparate countries, Cuba and the United States, the author noted.
Somoza added that, although it is not a biography, the novel is inspired by Puerto Rican-American Ana Belén Montes, who, he pointed out, has not yet finished serving her 25-year prison sentence for defending what she believed was right: providing intelligence to Cuba from the Pentagon, the Cathedral of the military power of the Empire.
"Shock in the Cathedral" is now available online at Ruthtienda for 69 Cuban pesos and 6.99 euros.
