Camagüey Meat Company Strengthens Alliances to Boost Production

Camagüey, November 8.- With the aim of organizing the procurement of livestock and other inputs to improve production yields in preparation for 2026, the Camagüey Meat Company is consolidating its ties with the agricultural sector and local producers.

Jaqueline Rodríguez Gómez, the company's production director, noted that this year has been characterized by several failures in municipalities such as Vertientes, Santa Cruz del Sur, Sierra de Cubitas, and Esmeralda.

In light of this situation, the company is implementing strategies aimed at ensuring quality and stability in production, in order to supply the regulated family basket, social consumption, and generate income from the industry.

Among the measures adopted, Rodríguez Gómez mentioned the implementation of a differentiated payment for exceeding production targets, streamlining reconciliation processes, and establishing a direct link with producers to seek greater cooperation and support.

The director emphasized that in a context marked by shortages and needs, many difficulties can be resolved through the joint work of all involved parties. "Improving the productivity of farmers directly translates into an increase in deliveries to the industry," she explained.

Additionally, Rodríguez Gómez stressed the importance of expediting pending processes, specifically referring to procedures that have been prolonged since previous months.
