Camagüey modernizes its television signal with new transmitters

The Camagüey Radio Communications Company reported that three new transmitters, donated by China, are now operational in the municipalities of Sibanicú, Najasa, and Sierra de Cubitas.

The installation will allow the digital signal to be deployed in these locations, which until now were the only ones in the province that required manual or automatic tuning to access television.

The investment, the result of a cooperation project with China for the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) standard, was made possible thanks to the continuous work of specialists and technicians from the Camagüey Territorial Division over the past few weeks.

To enjoy the new signal, users in these municipalities must make the following adjustments:

Cubitas Mountains: Viewers should point their antenna toward the Cubitas community, where the transmitter is located, and manually scan for channel 31 to access the high-definition (HD) signal.

Sibanicú: Point the antenna towards the local radio station and perform a manual search for channel 17 for the standard digital signal.N

Najasa: Tuning should be done on channel 39.

The new equipment guarantees a signal with greater range and quality. However, the Radio Communications Company has made available to the public the telephone number 32 298227 to clarify any questions or technical difficulties that may arise during the process.
