Political and ideological work, the defense of national identity, vocational training, and academic retention are among the pillars guiding this academic year at the Nicolás Guillén Provincial Pedagogical School in Camagüey.
According to Ramón Emilio León Sarduy, deputy director general of educational work, the new phase has the support of several organizations that contribute to the comprehensive preparation of students.
With more than 900 students, the school trains high school teachers in Primary, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education, as well as teachers of Mathematics, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, English, Music Education, Art, Music and Dance, and Visual Theater.
Currently, the Camagüey pedagogical school is implementing alternatives to meet teaching needs and organizing multiple initiatives to provide quality training.
