Florida, November 6 - During the sustainability meeting of the Municipal Administration Council of Florida, the First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Camagüey, Walter Simón Noris, reviewed the health actions being implemented in the area to address the outbreaks and thereby control the complex epidemiological situation currently existing in Florida.
In his remarks, the highest political authority in the Agramont province emphasized the need to activate Defense Zones, mobilize community work groups, and engage all local stakeholders to curb the transmission of viral diseases such as Dengue and Chikungunya from the community level.
Walter Simón Noris also called for greater unity among stakeholders, increased oversight of implemented tasks, and individual responsibility in this effort, as well as the sustainability of community actions against mosquitoes to cut off disease transmission.
