Sumai, new shopping center

Camagüey, Dec. — The city of Camagüey adds a new chapter to its commercial history with the opening of Sumai right on Maceo Street. This space becomes the first visible expression of the Investment and Trade Platform for Latin America (PICLA) in the territory.

More than just a store, Sumai is the realization of a project that combines e-commerce technology, logistical and financial services, and an educational-cultural component, designed to link Cuba with China and boost strategic sectors of the economy.

The inauguration was attended by authorities and key representatives such as Yennis León Mayedo, Vice Governor of Camagüey; Madiu Quiroga Gómez, Commercial Director of the Chinese agency Dofimall and PICLA coordinator in the province; and Robert Larrinaga, Director of the Business Group of Commerce.

With this initiative, Camagüey positions itself as a node of international exchange, where tradition and modernity come together to open new development opportunities.
