Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla on Tuesday denounced actions by the United States to weaken support for the resolution against the embargo on Cuba, which will be voted on this month at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
In X, the Cuban foreign minister stated that for this purpose, the State Department lobbies with lies and pressures allies.
According to Cuba's top diplomat, these actions follow the corrupt agenda of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"It seeks to deceive the international community and hide the serious harm it causes to Cuban families," he emphasized.
On October 28 and 29, the UNGA will consider the draft resolution "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial, and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba."

According to the report submitted under this document, it is estimated that between March 2024 and February 2025, Washington's hostile policy caused Cuba losses of $7.556 billion.
