Havana, December 16 - The Center for the Development of Visual Arts (CDAV) is putting the finishing touches today on the inauguration of the solo exhibition "All Attention Is Too Little..." by artist Jorge Braulio Rodríguez, to be held on December 17 in this capital.
Jorge Braulio Rodríguez has published works such as "Everything in Three Lines," "Lucrecia's Notebook," and was responsible for the selection and translation of "Tales from the Orient," "Humorous Poems from Japan," and "Haiku: This Other World" by writer Richard Wright, for which he also wrote the prologue.
With a solid career spanning more than four decades, he continues to be a prominent figure in the Cuban art scene, dedicating himself to teaching and promoting visual arts, without neglecting his passion for Japanese culture and literature, highlights the CDAV in the publication.
Additionally, he has participated in national and international solo and collective exhibitions, served as dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts at the University of the Arts, and conducted workshops and lectures in Colombia, Bolivia, Sweden, among other countries.
His most recent solo exhibition, "All Attention Is Too Little...", will open next Wednesday at the CDAV and remain open to the public until January 24, 2026.
The event will take place at the corner of San Ignacio and Teniente Rey streets, in the historic center of the city, at 5:00 pm local time.
