Caracas, Nov 27 - The formation of the Integral Bolivarian Commands begins today across the entire country as a leadership, coordination, and integration body for the grassroots militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
According to the regulations in its Article Two, this new organizational structure will establish a network of planning and action, which must be composed of no fewer than 11 people.
The process will extend until Saturday and will be governed by the PSUV's Declaration of Principles, developed in its Statutes and Code of Ethics, which includes loyalty to the eternal leader and founding president Commander Hugo Chávez, anti-imperialism, unity, and the defense of the Bolivarian Revolution.
In statements to the press the day before, the Secretary-General of the so-called red party, Diosdado Cabello, provided details about this exercise that arose as part of the plenary sessions of the V Congress of the Party and the IV Youth Congress of the PSUV, held this month with over three thousand delegates.
Cabello stated that agreements emerged from these meetings that must be fulfilled, such as the new organizational structure of the Integral Bolivarian Base Committees (CBBI), which has already been implemented.
He indicated that a "very powerful vanguard" has emerged from the grassroots, which will allow, under any circumstances, the Party to deploy strategies to win elections and defend the homeland using this structure.
Once the CBBIs are formed, it is appropriate to create the Integral Bolivarian Commands, which start today with meetings of liaisons designated by the states together with all current leaders of the Bolívar Chávez Battle Units (UBCH), he asserted.
This will involve each UBCH leader holding between three and four assemblies in their communities, where these leaders must be present to verify the accuracy of the information, draw up minutes, and send them to the Secretary-General of the PSUV for information processing.
The political leader pointed out that next Monday he will receive the minutes and proceed with the transcription work of the contents coming from the states and communities.
“I believe this is a historic moment, and the Party takes the lead at the forefront as it has been for the past 26 years,” he stated.
He expressed that these new times and era demand a new party structure to face the challenges that test them every day.
The party leader said that the PSUV, amid attacks, threats, and siege, is restructuring, organizing, and consolidating itself into a great unity, a political stronghold, which was evident during the weekend celebration of the fourth National Popular Consultation that had the highest participation of all held.
Yesterday, during the inauguration of 98 healthcare projects in Caracas and other states in the country, the president announced the participation of more than six million people in these elections.
