Moscow, Aug 17.- Former U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed last Sunday that options for using nuclear weapons against Iran are being discussed in strategy meetings in Washington.
"Yes, you read that correctly. It is real. I am not speculating, I know it," she wrote on X.
Greene recalled the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, their more than 200,000 deaths, and the aftermath of radiation, cancer, and congenital malformations, emphasizing that the experience led humanity to swear "never again.
"The former legislator condemned the Donald Trump administration for having attacked Iran, even though intelligence services themselves had concluded that Tehran was "far from" manufacturing a nuclear weapon. She further warned that the use of atomic weapons by the United States could trigger a holocaust that would drag the world into a major conflict, economic depression, and unprecedented human suffering.
"People have to raise their voices and stop this madness. The U.S. is not untouchable," she asserted.
