Matanzas, Dec. - From December 26 to 27, the province of Matanzas will host the 5th Atenas Fusion Alternative and Electronic Music Festival, an event aimed at promoting various musical trends.
The Parque de la Libertad, located in the center of the city of Matanzas, will serve as the venue with performances by David Blanco, Adrián Berazaín, Jotabarrioz, Karamba, Glens, Mamá estoy brillando, as well as young local artists such as Bryan Sánchez.
According to the official program, attendees of both days will enjoy pop, rock, urban, and dance music, featuring young artists as the main protagonists, as is customary.
The fifth Atenas Fusion Alternative and Electronic Music Festival is sponsored by the Provincial Directorate of Culture in Matanzas, Cauce Producciones, and is generally overseen by the event management company 360 Producciones SRL, the program details.
The festival, with artistic direction by Hiram Torres and Jorge Luis Robaina Martínez, is one of the most important events of its kind in Cuba, aimed at showcasing the alternative music being produced today in the largest of the Antilles.
