May, 2026.- A new day announces the beginning of the week in the easternmost of the Camagüey territories. It is not just any beginning; the calendar marks the fourth day of the fifth month of the year, blessed by the aroma of flowers and the tenderness of mothers.
Guáimaro awakens and, once again, declares itself an echo of a vivid history in the footsteps of its children. The energy crisis and the imperial siege try to darken existence, but they will never be able to extinguish the light that springs from memory and dignity.
The region, Cradle of the Cuban Constitution, time and again becomes a symbol. In its legends beats the rebellious heart that characterizes it; the same one that in these and all times sustains and drives the daily action of a city that refuses to give up.
There is no doubt, the resilience of the Guáimaro resident translates into solidarity and the undeniable ability to share love even in the midst of scarcity.
In this land bathed by the mambí lineage, where electricity is lacking, the flame of unity is lit; there is no room for despair, because in these historic lands shared tenderness flourishes.
The power of the inhabitants of this land lies in their ability to transform adversity into collective strength. It is not just about surviving, but about reaffirming that history calls them to be protagonists of a dignified present.
